Apologizing, we do it all the time but it doesn’t always have the effect we hope for, does it?

We make a lot of mistakes when it comes to apologizing (yep, us included) and that isn’t beneficial for our relationships.

In this episode, we go over the most common mistakes when it comes to apologizing, and most of all, this episode is about how to be a human being and apologize in a way that feels good to you and the other person and that’s going to create some growth, repair and learning from the whole situation.

You’re being the kind of person you want to be when you take
responsibility for a mistake that you made.

Haven’t we all been in a situation where our apology actually makes the situation worse? Or it doesn’t come across the way we hoped? Where does it go wrong?

As human beings, we’re wired for survival, and part of that is defending ourselves. No wonder many people get defensive while apologizing. But getting defensive is taking away from your apology. It’s both robbing the other person of feeling better and your opportunity for connection.

That leaves us with the question: How to apologize in a healthy way? We’re sharing all the deets in today’s episode. Have a listen!
