My name is Julia, and I serve as the Compliance and Clinical Operations Manager at Active & Connected Family Therapy. I am often one of the first points of contact for new clients and play a key role in ensuring that every individual and family has a smooth, supportive, and well-coordinated experience from the very beginning.
In my role, I oversee the client intake process, conduct chart audits to ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards, manage client concerns and complaints, verify insurance coverage, and serve as a resource for clinicians by fielding questions and supporting day-to-day clinical operations. I work closely with both clients and our clinical team to help maintain high standards of care, organization, and ethical practice across the practice.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia and Texas, with a strong background in both mental health care and administrative leadership. I earned my degree in Social Work from J. W. Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, and have built a diverse professional background that includes providing therapy as well as managing office and clinical operations. My combined clinical and operational experience allows me to approach my work with empathy, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of both client and clinician needs.
I am deeply committed to supporting others and contributing to meaningful, high-quality care within the practice.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, exploring Virginia and the surrounding areas with friends, traveling, and reading historical fiction.
