I work at A&C as the Billing & School Program Specialist. I assist with billing for therapy and psychiatry services on a weekly basis and ensure data accuracy. I provide support to our school program, including managing intakes, scheduling, coordinating services, and verifying insurance benefits to ensure a smooth and efficient process for students and families. As part of the administrative team, I support my colleagues with client care coordination, resolving clients' concerns, processing incoming mail, and assisting with documentation handling.
I hold a certificate as a Medical Assistant and worked at UVA Medical Center for four years. During that time, I cared for both pediatric and senior patients by taking vital signs, scheduling appointments, and administering vaccines.
I’m originally from El Salvador and am bilingual in English and Spanish.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog.
