Hello! I specialize in working with children and adolescents struggling with trauma, depression and anxiety. Being vulnerable with a new person can be intimidating, especially when trying to process difficult emotions. I believe the first step to helping is to build a trusting relationship, allowing us to explore difficult feelings and try new ways of coping. I am open, supportive, and solution-oriented when helping children and families navigate the challenges of our increasingly complicated world.
I earned my Masters in Counselor Education from UVA in 2022 and worked as an elementary school counselor for two years in Charlottesville City Public Schools. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and family therapy to empower and support long-lasting change.
I work out of the Pediatric Associates office as well as the Charlottesville, Pantops office and provide teletherapy across Virginia. I am a Resident in Counseling under the supervision of Dayna Kumar, LPC. When not working you can find me hiking with my dogs or spending time with my three children.
