Dr. McLean specializes in mental health treatment for females ages 12 and older struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating disorders, complex medical diagnoses, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders.
Dr. Mclean earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, medical degree from the University of Virginia, and completed a general psychiatry residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School. After residency, Dr. McLean was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at EVMS, specializing in treating psychiatric illnesses in adolescents and adults with complex medical comorbidities. She has experience performing electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) treatment, teaching residents and medical students, and inpatient adult psychiatry. Dr. McLean is board certified in general psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and licensed to practice in Virginia and North Carolina.
Dr. McLean lives in North Carolina with her military member husband, daughter, and dog. She enjoys being outdoors, gardening, and can also be found either cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs or counting down the days until college football season begins.
