I am a supervisee in social work working under the supervision of Nikki Bowles, LCSW. I specialize in working with older children, young adults, parents, and families who are going through transition or times of upheaval, or who are struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, stress management issues, parenting, and relationships. My background as a birth doula, as well as a yoga and mindfulness teacher deeply informs my practice, and in working together you can expect to explore the connection between your physical and emotional experiences. I encourage time outside, feeling what’s happening in our bodies, and talking about what’s on our minds. I draw from CBT, psychodynamic, somatic psychotherapy, polyvagal therapy, and IFS treatment modalities.
I received my MA in Art History and Religious Studies from the University of Virginia; and my MSW from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2024.
I grew up here in central Virginia and my husband and I live in Crozet where we are raising two young daughters and our old dog, Goose. In our spare time (which is seldom!) We enjoy traveling, working on our house and garden, and spending time with friends.
I provide walk-and-talks, face-to-face, as well as telehealth. Currently, I work out of the Crozet and Pantops offices.
