I am a social work supervisee working under the supervision of Caroline Megargel, LCSW. I’m passionate about supporting children, teens, and young adults as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationships, sports, or simply the everyday pressures of being young, I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, empowered, and genuinely supported.
I recently earned my Master of Science in Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University, building on nearly fifteen years of experience working with youth as a teacher, coach, and advisor. My path into therapy was shaped by a deep commitment to youth development, rooted in both my personal and professional journey. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the classroom, on the sidelines, and in student support roles, always drawn to helping young people find confidence, connection, and their voice.
I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Education in Higher Education from the University of Virginia (UVA). These degrees continue to inform my holistic, developmentally grounded approach to supporting children and adolescents across emotional, academic, and physical domains.
In sessions, I bring empathy, a sense of humor, and a lot of heart. I meet kids where they are, whether that’s through conversation, creativity, or play, and help them discover their strengths. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to tailor my support in ways that feel engaging, meaningful, and age-appropriate.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me baking cookies for friends, hanging out with my two very spoiled Labradors (Alfie and Albert), or coaching varsity volleyball and travel lacrosse.
I offer walk-and-talks, face-to-face sessions, as well as telehealth. Currently, I work out of the Pantops office and within our school-based program.
