Hi! I am a Resident in Counseling under supervision of Jeanne Brown, LPC, RPT-S, CASC. I specialize in helping individuals navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, family and relationship challenges, life stressors and transitions. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults, and have extensive experience working with individuals in various settings.
In my practice of counseling, I utilize a client centered and integrative approach– tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each individual and meeting them where they are. I strive to create a welcoming, inclusive, non-judgemental, and empowering environment where individuals can heal and thrive. I value culturally sensitive approaches to therapy and work collaboratively with my clients to empower them to accomplish their life goals.
I graduated from the University of Virginia in 2021 with a Masters in Counselor Education. Prior to my work as a Resident in Counseling, I was a School Counselor in Arlington, Virginia. As a school counselor, I helped students navigate the challenges of high school, while at the same time serving as a resource for parents and families.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, expanding my culinary interests by trying new recipes and visiting new restaurants, and traveling to new places. I also enjoy spending time outside with my dog, Benny. Currently, I provide in-person and teletherapy services in Virginia and work out of the Arlington/Alexandria and Falls Church offices.
