I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, committed to supporting children, adolescents, couples, and families as they navigate a variety of emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges—including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance use, life transitions, and more. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish to ensure that clients feel heard and supported in a way that feels authentic and comfortable.
Currently, I serve as the School Program Supervisor for the Albemarle County School Program at Active & Connected Family Therapy. In collaboration with Albemarle County Public Schools, I oversee and provide school-based counseling services, bringing accessible mental health support directly into the school day. Our goal is to help students feel more confident, regulated, and connected—while supporting them through struggles such as emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, peer relationships, and academic stress.
In my private practice work, I focus on helping clients build a strong foundation for healing, growth, and well-being. I believe effective communication is at the core of strong relationships, and I work closely with children, teens, and families to develop emotional awareness and healthier ways to connect. Whether we’re addressing long-standing patterns or immediate concerns, I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to each client’s journey.
Originally from New York, I earned my B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from Albright College (PA), and my M.A. in Psychological Services along with a Professional Diploma in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kean University (NJ). I am licensed to practice in both Virginia and New Jersey. I offer telehealth sessions for clients in New Jersey, providing flexible and convenient access to therapy from the comfort of your home.
Outside of the therapy room, you can find me hiking, traveling, exploring arts and crafts, or spending time with friends and family. I offer therapy sessions in person at the Charlottesville–Rio Road office, as well as via telehealth and walk & talk sessions.
