Bio

I am a resident in counseling working with individuals (children, teens, adults), couples and families. I particularly specialize in working with students, athletes, mothers or soon-to-be mothers, parents, and Veteran and law enforcement spouses. I take a person-centered approach, and integrate therapies based on individual client needs. I focus on treating the whole person and I value the unique and special qualities of each individual. My goal is to provide unconditional positive regard as my clients navigate their process of self-discovery, and I build upon clients’ strengths to conquer obstacles and to live with greater self-actualization. Originally from Maryland, I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology from Salisbury University while starting for the women’s soccer team, where I currently hold the record in career assists. I earned my master’s degree in school counseling from Loyola University Maryland, and I have many years of experience in teaching, coaching, and parenting. I have been married to my college sweetheart for over twenty years and we have three beautiful children together. My husband is a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and I spent several years as a military spouse living in different states across the country. I enjoy athletics and sports, country music, and being with my family. When not working, you can find me cheering for my children from the sidelines of the football, lacrosse, and soccer fields.
