Hi! I am a Resident in Counseling under the supervision of Dayna Kumar, LPC and Amanda Sovik-Johnston Ph.D. I specialize in working with children ages 0–12 and families who are experiencing anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, difficulty with emotional regulation, self-image concerns, and grief and loss.
My therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered, with some CBT incorporated when appropriate. I meet clients where they are and tailor my approach to their individual needs, helping children build emotional awareness, develop healthy coping skills, and feel more confident in themselves.
I graduated in 2024 with a M.Ed. in Counselor Education from University of Virginia. Most recently, I completed two years as an elementary school counselor, where I gained experience supporting children and families with a variety of academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs.
In my free time, I enjoy pilates as well as spending time with friends and my dogs.
