I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nine years of experience supporting children, teens, young adults, and families through life’s most complex challenges. I received my bachelors from JMU in Health Science and Public Health Education with a minor in Humanitarian Affairs and Global Justice before completing a Master's in Social Work at Louisiana State University. My work is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a variety of settings—including private practice, schools, in-home behavioral health, and internationally in trauma-intensive environments. These diverse experiences have shaped my flexible, culturally informed approach to therapy, and strengthened my ability to meet clients wherever they are in their healing process.
I specialize in areas such as anxiety, trauma, life transitions, substance use, family dynamics, adoption, and parenting. I integrate a range of evidence-based modalities including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral strategies, attachment-focused work, and parent coaching, always tailoring my approach to meet the needs of the individual or family I’m working with.
Whether I’m helping a child navigate big emotions, supporting a teen through a difficult transition, or working with parents to strengthen their connection with their child, my goal is always the same: to create a safe, supportive space where growth and change can take root.
When I'm not at work, you can find me trying my hand at gardening, skiing in the winter, or exploring new hiking trails with my husband and growing family.
